Only three miles from Taunton town centre and 15 minutes from Junction 25 of the M5 (where there is a large Sainsbury's), we are situated in the open countryside in the Vale of Taunton Deane, between the rolling Quantock and Blackdown Hills (designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Find us at OS map reference ST 206 277, marked by name. Our Post Office at Staplegrove and village shop, 'open all hours', is only 3 minutes by car, while the nearest Pub, the Cross Keys Inn, is just 5-6 minutes by car.

While our own three acre mini-estate of a formal garden area then woods, meadow, stream and ponds provide plenty to explore, there are extensive walks either from your front door or within 30 minutes on Exmoor or, slightly further, on Dartmoor or the north or south 'Jurassic' coast. There are so many areas and villages of scenic beauty just waiting to be explored.

Taunton town provides good shopping facilities together with a theatre, multiplex cinema, bowling alley and very varied and good opportunities for eating out. Golf, cycling and other sporting and social activities are available at a number of venues and the private West Somerset Railway is within a fifteen minute drive. There is a full directory for your use, covering (almost) everything you can think of in the way of facilities available in the area, including National Trust and English Heritage properties.
